H E S E A S O N I S BA R E LY halfway done, and Kobe Bryant has still uttered
enough highlights to reporters to fll a top 10 list. He's not pulling any punches
with his rhetoric concerning the disappointing early season for the Lakers,
and on one particular Wednesday night, afer a tough 103-99 loss to the
Philadelphia 76ers, he was at it again. He didn't go afer any of his teammates.
Instead, he iterated a bit of ageism directed against the older Lakers roster.
Afer the Philadelphia loss dropped the Lakers to a disappointing 15-16
on the season, Kobe told ESPN's Dave McMenamin that there was a simple
answer for the Lakers troubles. When asked why the Lakers have experienced
a lack of energy so far this season, he replied, "'Cause we're old as shit."
That wasn't the only time Kobe popped of to the media this season,
though. No, there have been countless times where Kobe's unfltered anger/humor/
vengeance boiled over and reporters were there, pen in hand. Here are the 10 best so far
