FinallyMade
Tree years ago, Prince Ampong jettisoned his microbiology and chemistry classes to open FinallyMade, a boutique named after the clothing brand he began a year prior. Today, the boutique is living up to its name. Located in Tucson, right off the University of Arizona campus, FinallyMade has received some love from one of the basketball town's most recent and biggest of stars – Derrick Williams, the No. 2 overall pick in this June's NBA Draft. Along with the Timberwolves forward, the brand and shop have grown thanks to a short-list of big-name musicians, including Wiz Khalifa, Chris Brown, Murs, and Big Sean. "It's amazing," says Ampong, who before opening the store began selling his clothing around campus. "Being a small shop in Tucson, all these celebrities wearing our stuff, I'm really grateful. Ten again, it gives me a reminder that the more we keep working, everything is kind of possible."
